Wildcraft Is Now Certified Plastic Negative!

What started as a small selection of natural skin care options we brought in a year and a half ago has now doubled… AND we’ve been able to bring in more refillable options, you all love it so much! We're right there with you, and - because we love this company & their products so much - we're incredibly excited to share that Wildcraft is now Certified Plastic Negative... a perfect good news moment to wrap up Plastic Free July.

Wildcraft is supporting the Sada Shakti Project in Karnataka, India, through their partnership with rePurpose Global. This initiative helps recover and repurpose low-value plastics that often get dumped in lakes and open areas and also creates employment for locals. Since June 2026, every purchase of Wildcraft has helped save over 4,545kg of nature-bound plastic!

When Laura started Wildcraft, she wanted every part of their products to reflect the same philosophy. They carefully choose naturally derived ingredients that are kind to your skin, and believe that same care should extend to their packaging. That's why they've always chosen glass and aluminum wherever possible and worked to use as little plastic as they can. It's one more way we try to create products that are thoughtful from the inside out.

Together with rePurpose, Wildcraft is helping recover twice as much nature-bound plastic as they use across their products and packaging, allowing them to take meaningful action while they continue working to reduce the plastic we use every day.

For Wildcraft and us at Local Refillery, sustainability has never been about being perfect. It's about always asking, "How can we do better?"

Becoming Plastic Negative is an exciting milestone, but it's only one step in their journey. They plan to continue looking for better materials, reducing their environmental impact, and creating products that care for both your skin and the planet.

For those unfamiliar with Wildcraft, their founder, Laura, always believed in nature’s ability to positively impact the mind and body, but found many products financially out of reach for most people. So she started experimenting with making and trying her own natural skin care products. In 2014, this beautiful company was born.

“I know firsthand the healing power of nature and want to see as many people as possible integrate natural moments into their everyday skincare routines.”
