Local Refillery is a gathering place and hub for aspiring ‘zero-wasters’. The intention of our Coffee House is to build community as well as a social movement. We try our best to source organic, local, and ethically sourced products, and serve them in a way that leaves a gentle footprint on our earth (more on that below!).

Our coffee comes from award-winning French Press Coffee Roasters in Qualicum Beach, our teas are curated by Denman Island Tea Company, and our food offerings are made locally and delivered to us fresh. We have options to meet a variety dietary needs, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan.

Want Your Food & Drink To-Go?

We are so pleased to join a handful of coffee shops across the country that are refusing single-use cups and containers. To help facilitate this effort, we encourage you to bring your own food & drink containers. We also offer deposit jars (for drinks and some meals), and have created a community-supported Free Mug Program. Simply drop off your previously loved mugs, and we give them new life. Bring ‘em back when you’re done to keep the program going! By using these options, you are an active participant in reducing emissions and waste, creating a cleaner, healthier earth.
